Senior Vice President, South/West Division, EMEA Region

Peter Buis is responsible for all commercial and operational aspects of the EMEA South/West division, comprised of the Belgium, France, Luxembourg the Netherlands, Portugal and Spain.

Peter joined BCD Travel in early 2008 as managing director for the Netherlands, in 2009 he was appointed senior vice president, BeNeLux.

Peter’s professional background is in business economics. From 2002 to 2007 he was director / owner of the postal company MailMerger, now a division of DHL Global Mail.  From 1989 to 1999 Peter held various management positions in the global Royal Dutch Shell group – where he initially experienced business travel firsthand. He has also held the position of senior vice president of Loyalty Management International, owner of accrual savings programs such as Air Miles and Nectar.
