Mike Janssen is responsible for expanding the current customer base, fostering the retention and satisfaction of both clients and employees, and maintaining and growing profit margins, while always delivering the highest value to our customers through advanced technologies and service offerings. Since joining BCD Travel in 1993, Mike has had responsibilities in the areas of account management, industry relations, operations, sales, finance and overall P&L performance. His roles grew simultaneously with the growth of the company; prior to being named president, Mike held leadership positions on many multi-national teams and was senior vice president for the Midwest Division.
Mike has also held senior leadership roles at Carlson Wagonlit Travel, AON Corporation, Unisys Corporation, and Peterson Consulting.
Mike graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in finance. He also holds an MBA in marketing from Loyola University.
